A FYLDE company is taking on the world with its range of specialist high quality training equipment.

Local MP Mark Menzies paid a visit to Exertrain on Whitehills Business Park on Friday where he met father and son business partners Gordon and Dean Kent.

After seeing a gap in the market for high end, durable weight-lifting and training equipment, the pair went into business to design, manufacture and sell goods which were built to last.

They recently moved into new premises at Whitehills and invited Mr Menzies along to see the growing set up.

Following the visit, the Fylde MP said: “It was terrific to see the passion and hard work Gordon and Dean had put into the business.

“It is always nice when people are able to take the expertise they gather from their own personal interests and build that into a way to make a living.

“While the company is just getting off the ground they have already had some exciting orders and apparently customers have been delighted with the products they have created.

“I wish them nothing but success as the business continues to flourish.”
