Mark Menzies MP visits Lytham primary school

Fylde MP Mark Menzies said he was impressed with the new library and computer suite during a visit to a local primary school.

The Member of Parliament was invited to Lytham C.E Primary School by headteacher Helen Willott, where he was given a tour of the school buildings and introduced to some of the pupils.

The visit also allowed Mrs Willott the opportunity to raise with Mr Menzies some the issues she had encountered during her first year at the helm of the school.

The MP said: “It was a pleasure to visit Lytham C.E Primary School and meet a number of the pupils who attend the school.

“They showed great interest in the role of a Member of Parliament and the Government and I was delighted to be able to share with them the some details about the work I do.

“While I was at the school I was shown around the new library and computer suite which was extremely impressive and the pupils should benefit hugely from having such state-of-the-art facilities.

“As ever, it was also good to meet teaching staff from Fylde to discuss any issues they might have which I can then take back to Government.”
