Mark Menzies visits Weeton school

FYLDE MP Mark Menzies was full of praise for staff and pupils during a visit to Weeton St Michael’s Primary School.

The Member of Parliament was invited to the school last week to look around the classrooms and other facilities before attending a meeting governors and senior staff.

Mr Menzies said: “It is always nice to pay a visit to a school in Fylde and meet and speak to some of the staff and pupils.

“Weeton St Michael’s certainly had a really nice feel about and you could tell everyone involved with the school is very proud of what they have.

“One thing I was pleased to hear from catering staff is that all the food is created and cooked on the premises, which means the menus are healthy and locally sourced where possible.

“During the visit I agreed to do all I can to support the school in its future endeavours.”
