MP takes part in ward surgery

FYLDE MP Mark Menzies met with constituents during a councillors’ surgery in St Annes.

The Member of Parliament joined with Fairhaven Ward councillors along with police officers and volunteers to speak to people on Alexandria Drive in St Annes to give them the opportunity to raise any issues they may have.

And the event proved extremely worthwhile with people taking the time out of their day to speak to Mr Menzies about a range of matters.

Following the event, Mr Menzies said: “One of the most rewarding parts of my job is getting out and about talking to local people about the issues that matter to them.

“Some people may be bothered about something but have not yet found the time to contact me, or simply may have not thought to do so.

“That is why it was such a pleasure to join Councillor David Donaldson and Councillor Cheryl Little for their surgery and meet some of the people in Fairhaven Ward who I may not otherwise have got the opportunity to speak to.”
