FYLDE MP Mark Menzies has revealed his delight after helping secure new premises for a vital day care service in St Annes. Church Road Day Centre currently operates from the Church Road Methodist Church and provides a place for older and vulnerable people, particularly those with mental health needs, to go to socialise with others so they do not become cut off and lonely. MP to meet Flooding Minister to discuss Fylde issues

MP Mark Menzies is to hold top level talks to discuss issues with flooding in Fylde. The move comes after Environment Agency North West revealed it had missed out on funding for the East Lytham Project, a scheme to discover the issues causing the saturation of land around Main Drain and Liggard Brook, for the next two years. MP attends opening of new park in Warton

FYLDE MP Mark Menzies today paid tribute to the people behind a new aircraft-themed children’s playground in Warton. The site, which is located behind the village community centre on Lytham Road and is intended for use by children under five, has been installed by Bryning-with-Warton Parish Council – after money and time were donated by BAE Systems, the parish council and the people of the village.
