Mark launches schools manufacturing competition

MARK Menzies MP is proud to be launching the We Made It! competition in Fylde, working with local schools and industry to help young people understand how exciting and rewarding a career in manufacturing could be. The competition will invite young people aged 13-16 to submit designs and ideas for a gadget, gizmo, toy or tool they'd like to see made. Mark calls for action following complaints

FYLDE’s local MP, Mark Menzies, has today called upon Cuadrilla Resources to reduce the impact of geophysical surveying near residential areas. Cuadrilla Resources have, in recent weeks, been undertaking a series of tests to enable a detailed map of the local geology to be constructed. Sam’s a little star

A BOY from St Annes has been congratulated by his MP after raising money for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. Sam Russell, 11, from Lytham, who is severely deaf, organised a “Dreams Can Come True,” pyjama dog walk from Grannys Bay to Park View Playing Fields. He completed the walk alongside a host of other volunteers and his Black Labrador hearing dog, Ember and was met at the finish line by Mark Menzies. Helping a club in need

 THE Diamond Jubilee celebrations may be over but it’s pleasing to see the Union flags are still flying high here in Fylde.
