Mark Menzies welcomes plans for Healthy New Town in Fylde

FYLDE MP Mark Menzies said he was delighted a planned housing development close to the M55 motorway has been named an NHS-backed “Healthy New Town”. The 1,400 home Whyndyke Farm scheme is one of ten developments chosen by Public Health England from 114 applicants to form part of the new programme. Fylde MP welcomes Prime Minister to Warton aerodrome

FYLDE MP Mark Menzies welcomed David Cameron to BAE Systems in Warton where the Prime Minister spoke to local workers about his campaign to remain in the European Union. Mr Cameron told a gathering of staff and journalists that jobs could be put at risk if Britain leaves the EU and said being part of Europe made the UK “safer and stronger”. FYLDE MP Mark Menzies attended a ground-breaking event to learn more about efforts to find a cure for dementia.
