Fylde MP sets up marriage proposal in Parliament

Members of Parliament are regularly privy to some top secret Government information. But it is not every day they are asked to keep a marriage proposal under wraps. Mark Menzies MP talks skills issues during development visit

FYLDE MP Mark Menzies visited a new housing development in Staining and discussed a potential skills shortage in the local building trade. The Member of Parliament was welcomed to the Jones Homes site, The Heathers, by regional director John Roocroft and given a tour of two homes, one nearing completion and another fully furnished show home. Fylde MP visits new primary school at Weeton Barracks

Fylde MP Mark Menzies said he was delighted to see progress on Weeton’s new primary school during a recent visit to the army base. Work on the long-awaited replacement building began earlier this year after the Member of Parliament put pressure on the Ministry of Defence and Lancashire County Council to resolve issues which had led to delays in construction commencing.
