Fylde MP supports outreach service

MP Mark Menzies has presented a £1,000 cheque to a day centre manager in a bid to help make Christmas a little bit merrier for a group of older people in Fylde. Service users at the Adult Support and Outreach Service (ASOS) – formerly the Church Road Day Centre – will be treated to a Christmas party with all the trimmings thanks to the generous donation from the Queendeans charity, of which Mr Menzies is patron. Mark Menzies on board with new Fylde link to London

FYLDE MP Mark Menzies said a new direct link from rural Fylde to London could help encourage major investment into the area. The Member of Parliament boarded the first Virgin Rail train from Blackpool North to Euston at Kirkham and Wesham Station this morning, after a long campaign to get the service introduced. MP visits Fylde aerospace site

FYLDE MP Mark Menzies made his final visit of the year to BAE Systems in Warton for an update on the various projects being carried out on the site. During the visit, Mr Menzies was given a progress report on the £185m Taranis unmanned aircraft programme, before stopping by the Hawk and Typhoon production lines to view the latest units being created. Fylde MP visits revamped Land Registry building

FYLDE MP Mark Menzies has visited a former derelict Government building which is being given a new lease of life in Lytham. The former Land Registry building – Jubilee House – which is situated at the southern end of Lytham Green, was bought by accountancy firm Danbro recently and is currently being converted into a state-of-the-art business hub.
