Fylde MP presses PM for action at Warton Enterprise Zone

FYLDE MP Mark Menzies urged the Prime Minister to ensure that the Government is pushing for investment in advanced manufacturing at the Warton Enterprise Zone. MP’s joy at move to protect land in Lytham

FYLDE MP Mark Menzies today welcomed news that councillors had voted to take responsibility for public open spaces in Lytham, to protect them from potential development. Mr Menzies first became involved in the issue when UK Asset Resolution (UKAR), the taxpayer-owned holding company which took on the three parcels of land on the Belfry estate following the collapse of Northern Rock, was planning to put them up for auction to the highest bidder, sparking concerns they may be bought by developers for housing. Mark Menzies welcomes new mental health services

FYLDE MP Mark Menzies has welcomed the opening of a new hospital which will provide state-of-the art mental health services on the Fylde coast. Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust chief executive Heather Tierney-Moore was handed the keys to the Harbour, on Preston New Road, during a ceremony this week. MP: £365m radar contract will secure jobs at BAE Warton

FYLDE MP Mark Menzies today welcomed news that the Government had ordered state-of-the-art radar systems to be installed in Eurofighter Typhoons, helping secure highly-skilled jobs at BAE Systems in Warton.
