Fylde is a great place to live because of the people who make it. Not enough praise goes out to the men and women who support our communities to improve people's lives. Whether that be running the local neighbourhood watch, supporting people with disabilities or the local sports club that brings people together. They all make up the fabric of Fylde's Community.

I am launching the Fylde Community Awards following on from the success of the Fylde Business Awards last year. I have split the awards into three categories; Community Group of the Year, Charity of the Year and Volunteer of the Year. The winners will be announced on June 9th to coincide with the end of National Volunteers Week.
