New businesses can finally bid for St Annes’ flagship JR Taylor store, following a protracted four-year legal battle over the site.

And it is hoped the building will be at the forefront of the regeneration of the town centre.

Mark Menzies MP delighted at works on M55 link road

Fylde MP Mark Menzies has welcomed the start of pre-works on the M55 link road project.

The proposed link road would connect the existing roundabout at Whitehills Road to the north with Heyhouses Lane near the Cypress Point development site to the south.

Finally we got to see workmen on the site of the M55 link road this week.

I visited the Openreach team who are re-routing air traffic control cables from the area to facilitate the construction of the road.
