Mark Menzies MP welcomes record employment figures

Fylde MP Mark Menzies has hailed a further fall in unemployment in the constituency - as the national rate reached its lowest level since 1975.

The unemployment count in Fylde is 650 - down 40 on the same month last year, and down five on the previous month.

Fylde unemployment falls again

Unemployment has fallen in Fylde again.

Fylde MP Mark Menzies has welcomed the figures, which show 655 unemployed claimants in the constituency in June 2018.

That's 40 fewer than June 2017. There are 25 fewer claimants than last month.

Lytham library decision

Fylde MP Mark Menzies has welcomed the news Lytham's Library is to be re-opened following the promises made by the Conservative administration at Lancashire County Council.

Fylde MP's road resurfacing success

Lytham's main shopping street will be resurfaced following months of patch-up repairs.

County engineers will resurface Clifton Street, between Station Road and Park Street, from June 25 to July 12.
