Brexit is obviously dominating the agenda in Parliament as we now debate new options on a way to leave the European Union.

I’m doing everything I can to honour the will of people in Fylde in order that we can leave.

Mark Menzies MP delighted at works on M55 link road

Fylde MP Mark Menzies has welcomed the start of pre-works on the M55 link road project.

The proposed link road would connect the existing roundabout at Whitehills Road to the north with Heyhouses Lane near the Cypress Point development site to the south.

Finally we got to see workmen on the site of the M55 link road this week.

I visited the Openreach team who are re-routing air traffic control cables from the area to facilitate the construction of the road.

Fylde MP Mark Menzies voted for the Prime Minister's Brexit deal, in favour of keeping a No Deal Brexit on the table, and will vote against extending Article 50.

Preliminary works on the replacement M55 link road have started - to the delight of Fylde MP Mark Menzies.

Workers from BT Openreach are now on site moving National Air Traffic Service cables from Blackpool Airport ahead of the main construction of the road.

Mark Menzies welcomes reopening of St Annes Library

Fylde MP Mark Menzies has welcomed the reopening of St Annes Library, following multi-million pound repair and refurbishment works.

The Library was forced to close in August 2017 after plaster fell from the ceiling of the Carnegie Library.
