The flooding across many areas of Fylde in the past week is a real concern.

I have written to Lancashire County Council as our flooding authority, the Environment Agency, United Utilities and have notified the Secretary of State of the issues we face.

The Conservative Party has signed the Armed Forces Covenant – to the delight of Fylde MP Mark Menzies.

The Party is the first political party to formalise its commitment to the Forces family by signing the Covenant, to ensure they receive the recognition and respect they deserve. 

£5 billion broadband boost welcomed

Fylde MP Mark Menzies has welcomed the Government’s announcement of £5 billion to ensure the hardest-to-reach parts of the country get full and fast broadband coverage.

Mark Menzies welcomes tougher sentences for violent and sexual offenders

The end of early release for violent and sexual offenders has been welcomed by Fylde MP Mark Menzies.

Those who have committed such crimes will no longer be automatically released halfway through their sentence, and will now be reviewed two thirds of the way through their sentences.

Fylde MP backs more powers for police

Fylde MP Mark Menzies has given his support to a raft of measures to give police extra powers, recruit more officers, and stop criminals from reoffending.
