Fylde unemployment falls again

Unemployment has fallen in Fylde again.

Fylde MP Mark Menzies has welcomed the figures, which show 655 unemployed claimants in the constituency in June 2018.

That's 40 fewer than June 2017. There are 25 fewer claimants than last month.

Fylde MP Mark Menzies has welcomed the news Lytham's Library is to be re-opened following the promises made by the Conservative administration at Lancashire County Council.

Fylde MP's road resurfacing success

Lytham's main shopping street will be resurfaced following months of patch-up repairs.

County engineers will resurface Clifton Street, between Station Road and Park Street, from June 25 to July 12.

Fylde MP welcomes further fall in unemployment

Fylde MP Mark Menzies has welcomed a drop in the unemployment rate in Fylde again.

There were 675 claimants in the borough in May; that's 45 lower than March 2017, and 40 fewer than April 2018.
