Unemployment falls in Fylde again

Fylde MP Mark Menzies has welcomed a fall in unemployment in Fylde.

The figures, released today by the Government, show a year-on-year and month-on-month fall in unemployment in the constituency.

Get the South Fylde Line Back on Track!

I want to see improved rail services on the South Fylde Line. A passing loop would allow two trains to run per hour. It would increase reliability, punctuality, and more seating for passengers.

I am deeply concerned by the flooding issues seen across Fylde in the past 24 hours. It has been frankly shocking to see the damage to homes and the danger it has posed for residents. My thoughts are with the affected communities across rural Fylde.

Improving the South Fylde rail line

I have campaigned for improvements to the South Fylde line, serving Kirkham, Lytham, St Annes and through to Blackpool South ever since I was elected. We now have a successful Restoring Your Railway bid to double rail services on the line through the installation of a passing loop.
